Fall Itinerary*
Friday, September 24:
Early flight to San Juan, transfer to Hotel El Convento, Old San Juan. Explore Paseo del Morro.
Saturday, September 25:
Fortifications: San Felipe del Morro, San Cristobal, Murallas de San Juan
Sunday, September 26:
Casa Blanca, Fortaleza, Casa Rosa
Monday, September 27:
Museums and Plazas, Old San Juan
Tuesday, September 28:
‘Cathedral of Rum,’ north, then west coast through and past Arecibo, Aquadilla, Rincón and Mayaguez. Drive into the Cordillera to Maricao and Parador Hacienda Juanita
Wednesday, September 29:
La Cordillera: Lares and on to the Arecibo Observatory. Recross to arrive in Ponce and the Hotel Belgica on Plaza Las Delicias.
Thursday, September 30:
Historic Ponce, Cathedral, Casa Armstrong Proventud, Casa Alcadia, Casa Wiechers, Parque de Bombas
Friday, October 1:
West to San Germán, then return along coast, Guánica State Forest, Casa Serrallés, Ponce.
Saturday, October 2:
Morning at Hacienda Buena Vista, then to Humacao to the Casa Roig and Yabucoa and the Central Roig. Stay the night at Parador Palmas de Lucia.
Sunday, October 3:
Fajardo and Faro Las Cabezas de San Juan, then El Yunque Forest. Return to El Condado in San Juan, stay at Acacia Seaside Inn.
Monday, October 4:
Remain in Condado until transfer to Airport and early evening flight back to Boston
